Learning Easy Holding Limited Stock Receives ISIN

Shares in Learning Easy can now be identified by their International Securities Identification Number.

Learning Easy Holding Limited, the owner of the collaborative course authoring and e-learning platform, LearningEasy, has formally announced that private investors holding shares in the company can now identify their stock using its recently-issued ISIN.

The ISIN is HK000028891

The receipt of our stock's ISIN is a natural progression that is in keeping with our ambition to become a leading educational products and services company that, one day, could invite others to share in the fruits of our success.

An ISIN is an International Securities Identification Number, a 12-digit code that provides unique identification for a security, be it a stock, commercial paper, a warrant or a bond. The ISIN is the only universally-recognized security ID code in use at the world’s stock bourses and brokers.

While the ISIN provides this unique identification, it does not contain information that denotes or identifies what the security is; its purpose is to serve solely as a means of identification for trading and settlement purposes.

Daryl Ebanks, Learning Easy Holding Limited’s spokesperson hailed the development as a decisive step towards meeting international accounting transparency and governance standards but warned against misinterpretation of the move by investors.

“The receipt of our stock’s ISIN is a natural progression that is in keeping with our ambition to become a leading educational products and services company that, one day, could invite others to share in the fruits of our success. That said, it should not be construed as a preamble to an imminent initial public offering or a stock market floatation. That is quite some way off,” he said.

Learning Easy’s stock is privately held by its President, its management infrastructure and a consortium of private equity investors. At the time of writing, there are no plans for a listing on a public stock exchange.
